Music Group Pilot Hits a High Note

The Music group pilot is now up and running, after an inaugural session was held on 19 May 2026 at Kahikatea in Te Mako, Naenae.

The free music group pilot has been made possible by a generous grant from Hutt Mana Charitable Trust to cover meeting room costs, some musical instruments including ukuleles and shakers, an amplifier and microphone, a music tutor (in addition to Debs who's leading the group on guitar) and even some biscuits.

The generous grant $3000 included some funding to cover branded workwear for the Community Advisors and team, and a few t-shirts for star volunteers!
